Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Sue and Dave Guzik from Fly Me Home in Pittston!

Sue and Dave Guzik are a husband and wife creative team that loves to scour flea markets for vintage materials to repurpose into unique jewelry, art and home accessories to sell at their shop Fly Me Home, located in Pittston.

The shop features a huge selection of their handmade goods as well as a working studio where Dave often hand stamps custom orders for customers on the spot. Originally a carpenter by trade, Dave’s attention to detail shows in his silverware jewelry and hand stamped items and one of his specialties is silverware windchimes.

Sue, formerly a graphic artist, specializes in mosaic and mixed media artwork and is often inspired by her love of animals and nature. She uses stained glass, found objects, vintage china and also incorporates silverware into many of her designs. They both do custom work by request and love incorporating their customer’s inherited silverware to make heirloom gifts to pass down through generations.

Their sweet dog Casey is a customer favorite and can often be found showing folks around the shop. Their hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10-5 and Thursday 10-6.

Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram and you can also check out their website
