Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Leana Pande!

Leana Pande is a self-taught artist in watercolor, acrylic paint, gouache, pen, and more. She graduated from Wilkes University with a double major in Neuroscience and Psychology. Medical illustration is a recent genre she has been painting since college. Her work has previously been published by the American Medical Student’s Association, American Medical Women’s Association, and the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.

Leana paints realistic and stylistic medical anatomy from her personal interest in science and medicine. She has written and published two scientific research papers and will be attending medical school at the end of the month. She paints this subject because she wants others to see the natural beauty in anatomy she can see through her passion for science and art.
