Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Kathleen Nealon!

Kathleen is from a small town in NEPA called Factoryville. She loved to explore the wild landscape of NEPA while growing up, which led her to venture to surrounding areas as well as different parts of the country and even the world. Branching out of her comfort zone really inspired her and strengthened her love for the outdoors, which then led her to discovering her passion for photography.

With her camera by her side, Kathleen enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring hidden gems and untouched terrains. Although wildlife and nature are her favorite subjects to photograph, she strives to capture the pure and subtle beauty that surrounds us every day. She hopes that her photography will spark inspiration in others to see how magnificent life can really be.

To continue her constant drive for photography, she attended East Stroudsburg University and graduated with a degree in Digital Media Technologies. Before graduating, she had the opportunity to intern with the Philadelphia Zoo in their Digital Marketing department. She jumped at the chance and was able to expand her vision in capturing wildlife while learning more on conserving the exotic animals in their habitat. She was even lucky enough to become a published photographer and experience up close and personal encounters with the wildlife that she will cherish forever. She currently works as a Website & Communications Coordinator at Pocono Farms Country Club. Within her job, she is still able to use her creative eye to promote and help the business grow.

If you like what you see, you can contact her to purchase prints of her work or to book a session for you, your family, and even your furry friends!
