Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Kathryn Roberts from Handling It Podcast!

Graduating from college in the spring of 2019, landing a dream job and living in her favorite city in the world, New York, Kathryn accomplished every goal on her list all at once. However, she was lacking a sense of fulfillment. Having every detail of her life mapped out to suddenly not having a clue where she was headed led her to a realization:  sometimes it’s okay for things to go off course. We’re all just handling life the best way we can. Kathryn created “Handling It Podcast” to converse with various working professionals about their careers and how they’re handling their lives, in order to not only inspire and motivate herself, but to do the same for anyone else who needs it.

Handling It Podcast began as a passion project, something Kathryn started at twenty one years old when she was fresh out of college, and assumed it would be a project shared soley amongst close friends and family. Fresh off of its one year anniversary, Handling It has grown into a weekly podcast with listeners across the United States, Europe and Australia, and it features a wide variety of guests, including accomplished actors, Emmy-winning directors, Olympic Gold Medalists and fierce founders. As a one-woman show and an amateur in the podcast realm, Kathryn is so proud of how far the podcast has come since its first episode. At the end of the day, the most rewarding experience out of all of this is the feedback she receives. She has said from the very beginning that all she wants is to help one person out there who’s struggling with their career path and let them know that their dreams and goals are both valid and achievable.

Handling It Podcast is available on SoundCloud, Spotify and Apple Podcasts
