Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Barry Barosky!

For Barry, growing up, visual composition just seemed to make sense, in a photo, in a room, in a painting, in architecture, and everywhere else. He knew when it worked and when it didn’t and he could usually pinpoint why on either side.

Barry went to school for fashion, then for fine art, and now he’s considering looking into interior design/decorating. It all overlaps. Design in every aspect, overlaps.

Everything Barry has ever done has involved experimenting in different stylistic approaches. Most of the time, this has been paired with a heavy emotional undertone that Barry still can’t explain because it does not reflect his nature.

Barry is a painter, illustrator, installation fabricator, decorator, muralist, and more. He’s done portraiture and has customized jeans, jackets, hoodies, shoes, etc. He’s an organizer and embellisher of space and surface. Most days, he defies a title, and he hasn’t stayed in the realm of one medium long enough to master it. But he is for hire for conceptual consultation, painting commissions, decorating, and interior design.
