Dave has been a wood carver and sculptor for 20+ years.
He started wood carving when he joined a carving club just to check it out. Just like that Dave was hooked!
Dave creates wood carving and sculptures using various methods and tools including knives, chisels, and chainsaws. When working on his wood carvings and sculptures he tends to create backstories for all of his pieces which gives each one an unique personality and is part of his creative process.
Dave is mostly inspired by nature but he also enjoys creating characters and bringing life into his craft. For Dave, being creative is his therapy and meditation. He uses his craft as an outlet to escape from the stresses of his daily life.
