Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Caroline Khoury of Face the Art Face Painting PA!
Face the Art Face Painting PA is a small business owned by Caroline Khoury (19), a Film and Media Arts sophomore at Temple University. She founded the business in 2014. Her goal is to bring smiles and cheer to families and create great memories! She has volunteered at over 15 nonprofit organizations, and donated her time and money to help benefit greater causes. Some of them include Walk MS, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Ronald McDonald House. Her business is located in the greater Scranton area, right outside of her hometown in Moscow, Pennsylvania. Not only does she volunteer her services for free, but she also travels near and far to parties and family events for only $30/hour.
On top of being a professional face painter, Caroline is also an artist, featured in many articles in the Scranton Times-Tribune, Moscow Villager, and her own university’s Temple News. She enjoys painting as a hobby, but she figured why not let other people enjoy her art, too? She loves seeing the reactions from the kids when they see their finished look, and she prides herself on “painting smiles.”
