Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Betsy Kezer!
Betsy Kezer is an artist, maker and mother in Greenfield, PA. She has been a working artist since 2009 and has never wavered from her calling as a creative. Although graphic design has been her occupation for the past ten years, she continues to sew, paint and draw at night with her sister Margie and daughter Cora. The three live together in their rural home and make art together as a family. As a mother, Betsy encourages her daughter’s creativity and curiosity (even though this often results in big messes.)
She believes in the power of making imagery to relay ideas, feelings and concepts that words can’t always satisfy. Making art is more than an occupation to Betsy and her family of little women. It’s a vocation and a purpose and a drive and a lifelong love.
