Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Jenny Matthews!
Jenny Mathews is an elementary art teacher in the Scranton School District. Creating is what she was put on this Earth to do. More importantly, Jenny feels she has a responsibility in encouraging others to create.
On top of being an educator of the arts, Jenny is a performance painter as well. In case you were wondering what that is, she is happy to explain. Jenny attends music events and festivals and allows her paintbrush to dance to the music. Once the evening hits, that’s when the black lights come out and the vivid neons start to become visible.
Jenny has always been into painting, especially anything involving nature and its magnificent creatures. She loves bugs, caterpillars, moths, frogs, tulips, butterflies, squids and monkeys to name a few. Her purpose is to spread colors throughout our world, and she is blessed with this mission indeed ♥️
To see more of Jenny’s work, follow her on Facebook and Instagram @jennymathewsart.
