Every Sunday, NEPA Creative turns the spotlight on some awesome creatives. This week, we have Jamie Barrese!
Jamie (Pesotine) Barrese is a photographer from Northeast Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree with a concentration in Photography from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and has done Post Baccalaureate studies in Art Education.
As a former photojournalist for The Standard-Speaker/Times-Shamrock she has won numerous awards including Keystone Press Awards from the PA Newspaper Association, along with the PA Women’s Press Association.
For the last 10 years, she has been working as a freelance photographer and artist incorporating her documentary, candid style roots into her portraiture and artwork. Jamie is based in Clarks Summit, PA where she lives with her husband, Kit, and dog, Tiger.
